Nadia: Hello! I’m a Model, freelance Presenter and strong advocate for Conscious Living. I‘m also a sucker for cats and will pet every one of these furry, majestic beings I come across on the street!

Describe your style in three words. N: Fluid, Sustainable, Fun
What do you think of the term Circular Economy?
N: It is a system which should be implemented worldwide and made compulsory as part of every country’s governing policies, now that we have the resources and technology to do so. There is literally no excuse not to adapt this system, as we can see now how very important it is in maintaining an Earth that can sustain us for years to come.
How can one stay woke in this era of a Climate Emergency? N: Always do your research before consuming anything. I advocate Conscious Living to encourage a lifestyle that aims to create less harm for the environment. If you can afford it, work towards contributing to causes or initiatives that create positive changes to the climate. If you are unsure of a brand you are thinking of supporting, write in to ask about their business practices to ensure it aligns with your values.
What are some little steps in your daily life you've implemented to live a more sustainable lifestyle?
N: I have been very good at reducing my consumption of fashion, only purchasing from second hand shops or eco/sustainable brands if I really need to. I bring my own bag when buying groceries. I have a little eco-kit pouch I carry with me everywhere even on my travels, which has a reusable tumblr for drinks, a collapsible tupperware for taking away food, foldable utensils and straws. I am part of freecycling groups on Facebook to post up items I don’t use anymore instead of throwing them away in the bin, so that individuals like the less fortunate or crafty people can give these items a second/third/fourth life.
